Composition

I was fortunate this year to receive some funding from Creative Scotland towards regular composition lessons.  These lessons have allowed me to broaden my approach to composition and I completed my first ever fully scored piece of music for the Fèis Rois/Drake music project at St Duthus School in Tain back in June.  I met composer Matilda Brown on this project and I was so inspired by her experience and approach to compostion that we are now discussing a potential collaboration project for next year.  More on that at a later date.  Meanwhile I'll be spending some of the Winter months writing music from Achiltibuie.
